Inspired by our recent trip to the Scottish coast we decided to venture into Wales to camp in Cardigan Bay for the bank holiday weekend. We’d heard how nice the area is and certainly weren’t disappointed (the sunny weather might have helped). We camped on a farm just outside of Cardigan and spent the days cycling and walking the coastline, seal spotting and eating amazing food. We’d recommend a visit to The Plwmp Tart, a small cafe just a few hundred yards from Penbryn beach. Mwnt, Ceibwr Bay and Gwbert are great spots for a swim or wild walk along the cliffs and Fforest Pizza Tipi in Cardigan is a must for their excellent pizza’s and craft beers.
